Advanced cell-based assays hold large promise to facilitate better translation of in vitro test results and hold a key role to unlock personalized therapies. However, in contrast to many biophysical and biochemical screens, large-scale drug testing on these advanced model systems has so far been limited. This SIG will focus on practical considerations, challenges, and examples of automation of these model systems.
