Graduate student
Incheon National University, Republic of Korea
Mr. Minjoon Kim is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Chemistry at Incheon National University. His research aims to develop the platform technology for rapid and accurate monitoring of disease-related biomarkers using barcorded-microparticles. He started his research career from 2022 as a graduate student (M.S course). Currently, he is in Ph.D. course in analytical chemistry and his research theme is developing accurate and multiplexed digital platform, such as digital PCR and isothermal amplification, using barcorded-microparticles. In SLAS Europe 2024 International Conference and Exhibition, his presentation is titled as "Multiplexed & Digital quantification of microRNA with Barcoded-microparticles" will be introduced in poster presentation session. In his research, he has developed a multiplexed digital detection platform by integrating microwell technology with barcoded magnetic microparticles (b-MMPs) to identify various microRNAs.
