Danail Pavlov is a master's student in "Artificial Intelligence in Biomedicine" at the Faculty of Public Health of Medical University 'Prof. Dr Paraskev Stoyanov' Varna, Bulgaria. He graduated in Ecology and Environmental Protection at the Technical University of Varna in 2002. In 2014, he obtained a second master's degree in Chemistry at the University 'Prof. Dr. Assen Zlatarov' – Burgas, Bulgaria. From 2002 to 2005 he was a biologist at the University Botanic Gardens – Balchik of Sofia University. From 2007 to 2009 he was a research associate in hydrobiology at the Laboratory of Genetics of the Institute of Fisheries Varna. From 2009 to 2016, he was an assistant professor, and since 2016, he has been a chief assistant professor in the Department of Biochemistry, Molecular Medicine and Nutrigenomics at the Medical University of Varna. In 2015, he obtained PhD degree in Biochemistry. He is a fellow of three mobility programs for specialization at the University of Iceland of Reykjavik, in the Department of Genetics and Molecular Medicine at the National University Hospital of Iceland and the Center for Applied Biotechnology at Brunel University – London. Dr. Pavlov is the author of more than 50 full-text publications, including 25 in international peer-reviewed journals and 6 monographs. He participated in more than 50 scientific forums, including 25 international. He is a member of the teams of 24 national and international scientific and educational projects, including as a coordinator of 3 European projects. Dr. Pavlov is a member of 6 scientific organisations.
