Senior Research Scientist
Evotec, France
Dr. Stadthagen studied biochemistry and microbiology at the National Polytechnic Institute in Mexico. His doctoral research at the Institut Pasteur in Paris, focused on the biosynthesis of complex mycobacterial lipids using biochemical and functional genomics approaches. As a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Copenhagen he contributed to elucidate some of the multiple, context specific roles of a microRNA in oncogeneis using mouse genetics, molecular and cell biology tools. During the last ten years, he has contributed to the development of research tools and assays for the biotech and pharma focusing on well-balanced industrialization fit and physiological relevance. Currently serving at Evotec Hight Throughput Biology and Screening department he contributes to early drug discovery programs, spanning target and model validation, primary pharmacology assays development and large HTS campaigns production and analysis.
