Ola Spjuth, PhD (he/him/his)

Ola Spjuth is Professor in Pharmaceutical Bioinformatics at the Department of Pharmaceutical Biosciences at Uppsala University wher he leads a research group with research focus on intelligent systems in drug discovery and toxicology, exploring how AI and automated laboratories can enable us to study complex phenomena in pharmacology and toxicology. Spjuth hods a PhD in Bioinformatics from Uppsala University, 2009. He did postdoctoral studies at Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm and Finnish Institute of Molecular Medicine (FIMM), Helsinki. Spjuth is also Head of AI at SciLifeLab Data Center, leading national efforts on AI in life sciences.
