After graduating from the University of Surrey, Amy has worked in a variety of world-leading establishments developing analytical expertise in industries including geochemistry, heritage and pharmaceuticals. Throughout her career she has focused on mass spectrometry along with liquid chromatography, MALDI and other ambient techniques. In her current role at GSK, she works in early stage drug discovery, implementing the use of mass spectrometry with a biological focus, across a range of target validation, compound profiling and hit validation projects to make a wide impact on GSK's portfolio. Previously she has held positions at the Natural History Museum in London as an Analytical Chemist and at the National Physical laboratory as a Higher Research Scientist and Laboratory Manager, working on mass spectrometry imaging applications.
