Marie Pierron, PhD

Dr Marie Pierron is Head of Bioassay development of Nagi Bioscience. Proactive and passionate scientist with an international education and a multidisciplinary profile, Marie owns 10+ years of expertise in neuroscience and cell biology research using mainly C. Elegans as a model organism combined with the optimization of advanced technologies (microscopy, microfluidics etc). She holds a PhD in Genetics and Neurobiology from the University Pierre et Marie Curie of Paris as a joint study agreement with the Ecole Normale Supérieure of Paris. She is co-author of numerous peer-reviewed publications in top international journals and received highly competitive grants throughout her academic career (DIM,EMBO). At Nagi Bioscience, her mission is to enlarge the panel of assays combining the unique strengths of C. elegans together with the precision of Nagi technologies.
