CEO
LiveDrop
liège, Liege, Belgium
Dr. Stéphanie van Loo, based in Liège, Wallonia, Belgium, is the CEO of Livedrop. She holds a PostDoc in Microfluidics from University of Liège. At LiveDrop, she contributed with her team to develop ModaFlow™, a technology closely related to a FACS (fluorescence activated cell sorter). It allows the realization of single-cell workflows based on droplet microfluidics: high-throughput screening, sorting, mixing with reagents (drugs, antibodies, buffers, barcodes, … ), and digital PCR.
It is particularly attractive for biopharma, oncology, immunology, cell therapy and single-cell genomics. It is able to process individual cells at high throughput up to millions of cells/day, with preserved viability, and is well adapted to rare, sensitive or high added-value cells and products.
As co-founder, CEO and CTO, She brought the project from an idea to a company.
