Automation Scientist
F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd., Switzerland
Hi, I am a scientist and automation specialist at the Institute of Human Biology at Roche, Basel. My work in this dynamic environment focusses on establishing automation protocols for organoids. I focus is on translating organoid cultures, assays, stainings and screening projects into robotic platforms. I aim to develop increasingly autonomous systems to help establish a higher degree of standardisation and enable high throughput for the assays and projects at the institute.
I am a biologist by training and gained my education at the Max-Planck Institute of Immunobiology and Epigenetics, focussing on the effects of the local environment on immune cell activation. After that position, I joined Hamilton Robotics, where I gained my first expertise in lab automation by working on a diverse range of complex projects.
